Piece for symphony orchestra (8”)
Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie 2023

An 8" piece for Symphony Orchestra. “Exzellente Orchesterlandschaft”, Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie and their conductor Ewa Strusinska commissioned the piece, which is loosely based on the sorbian tale of Krabat and the structural change in the Lausitz area. It's called “změna” (this means “transition” in sorbian).

The piece was premiered on the 15th July 2023 open air at Bärwalder See and played again on 16th July 2023 in the theatre of Bautzen. A first encounter for Max with a symphony orchestra. On top of the piece, Max conducted an improvised piece with the orchestra, based on few written motives.
